Here is my dream at the end of the year of our lord 2023. Tony Ferguson and Paddy Pimblett have a blood and guts war of a fight. Real FOTY kind of ****. Wholesome Dude Men stuff. And Tony wins the decision. And then, a moment of clarity hits his CTE traumatized brain. "Wow, that was really tough, and Paddy sucks! He is the least talent to hype ratio'd fighter that has ever fought in the UFC. Maybe I just don't have it in me anymore. Maybe I should take my purse, and the 50k bonus that I deserve, and **** off with my wife and kids somewhere that isn't inside of a cage. The avenues and networking I have done in being a weird but loveable goofball will get me and my family a happy life away from this god awful sport." That idea hits him hard, and he retires on a win, and forever will be the best fighter to have never won a undisputed championship, with little tarnished legacy behind him.
This is my dream.
