Also any love for Waldo? I get why Robelis is heavily favored on tap dude is a massive athletic specimen and clearly has power but who has he fought? What happens if Waldo survives a round? Do we know if Robelis has any cardio whatsoever outside of the first 2 minutes of round 1. I want to assume he is decently conditioned but we simply don’t know, Waldo has fought some decent competition on the other hand, can go 3 rounds easily, and is durable. Also Robelis’ wild nature leaves himself WIDE open. Watch the Parisian finish again and look at how high he holds his chin. Waldo has a decent right hand and overall good boxing he will absolutely take advantage of that is Robelis does that again. Robelis is absolutely live for another flash ko but given the uncertainty with his cardio and Waldo’s durability and experience I advantage I feel like Waldo is a decent bet at +200. Even by decision for some more juice. Interested in what any Robelis bettors think as to why he’s worth laying -200

I get what your saying about the value but no, no love for Waldo. **** that guy.  Robelis will kill him and move up to better competition, and then we will look back at the -200 as good odds.

I can definitely see it not as shocked as I am for the love for McKinney just a lot of question marks with Robelis still. Don’t rate Waldo highly it’s more of just uncertainty with Robelis

I was looking at over lines for McKinney because I've lost money a couple of times on the over 1.5 in his matches but haven't quite given up the hope that one day he'll be in a match that last a bit longer than usual.
I've been eyeing the rd2 to start +110 for this one but I'm leaning against it right now because Ribovics also start really fast typically. Obviously ridiculous line if you ewre to just go by lightweight averages but McKinney is without a doubt a meme fighter.

You like Rebecki and over 1.5 eh? That's at -110. I figure CDF is savvy enough that he can stay alive before he gasses.

Feel like that over is really dependent on if Rebecki wrestles or not. He’d be dumb to grapple I definitely think he could get CDF out of there early by ko but if he starts shooting CDF will survive

I've took chances plenty on big dogs at HW in the past because of uncertainties around the favorite. I'm more and more treating it like low level WMMA though where I rate physical advantages really high. Robelis has that. Also cuban residing in Florida? He will have access to all the supplements he needs to maintain cardio if it goes long.

Menifield vs. Ulberg
Carlos Ulberg, TKO, R2
Trusting Ulberg to stay out of range and hit Menifield with the CKB leg kick, jab + feints special before landing heavy punches (if he feels safe enough to do so). Rewatching the Jacoby fight, Jacoby initiated with his hands a lot more often than Ulberg does. Prior to that he was lighting up Menifield and even rocked him a few times, imagine those shots landing with Ulberg's speed and power. Menifield is crazy athletic and could close the distance quickly though, so I wonder how Ulberg will look in clinch scenarios.

Cortes-Acosta vs. Despaigne
Robelis Despaigne, TKO, R1
Athletic Freak

Aldrich vs. Hardy
JJ Aldrich, DEC
I've seen plenty of rude comments about the WMMA fights on this card and I'm a little confused. I can see Pennington outpointing Ricci in a relatively pedestrian affair (though it definitely has the potential to be exciting), but I'm completely confident that Hardy vs Aldrich in particular will be a straight banger. Hardest fight to pick on the card for me

I'm a little surprised with the love for Buckley tbh. Y'all were hating on him on the last 2 fights and saying he's outmatched and now you guys are saying he's expected to win against a weight bully. Being 6'5 and being able to cut to 170 should not be possible. Most dudes that height are light heavyweights if they are not built like Gane or Aspinall

Waters vs. Goff is also an absolute sleeper fight. It's a little crazy to me how little it has been talked about. I think both dudes have the potential to actually get in the rankings at some point of their career

I think it's more that people are unsure about Ruziboev.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 6 Perfect, 605 Points   |   Tied for 170th

Lewis vs. Nascimento
Derrick Lewis, TKO, R3
low confidence with current lewis, but i'm also not confident rodrigo finds his td's here.

Buckley vs. Ruziboev
Joaquin Buckley, DEC
ruziboev hasn't seen r2 in the ufc yet and buckley has looked improved at sustaining his pop over the 3 round fight and i'll say he can find a way to cover the distance.

Menifield vs. Ulberg
Carlos Ulberg, TKO, R2
anything can happen with explosiveness like alonzo's, but i'm gonna stick with the range.

Ferreira vs. Rębecki
Mateusz Rębecki, DEC
diego's last 3 losses came in fights where he was taken down multiple times and i'm not confident he can keep it at kickboxing range to tire rebecki out.

Caceres vs. Woodson
Sean Woodson, DEC
maybe alex can get this to the ground and end up in back control, but woodson is probably the better boxer and has the range on his side.

Cortes-Acosta vs. Despaigne
Robelis Despaigne, TKO, R1
i'm not even on the hype train here, i just think waldo is hittable enough and might not present the power to keep robelis honest.

Hooper vs. Borshchev
Viacheslav Borshchev, TKO, R3
maybe chase catches a kick and easily takes the back, but if he can't find his td's then he's in for another rough night against someone who is significantly better than him standing.

McKinney vs. Ribovics
Esteban Ribovics, TKO, R2
i just don't trust terrence. he's gonna look like a god for 2 min and then his hands will get low.

Ricci vs. Pennington
Tabatha Ricci, DEC
guess i'm saying ricci will find her td's and not be too far behind in the striking. possible tecia just peppers her up though.

Waters vs. Goff
Billy Goff, TKO, R2
goff just seems to have seen more consistent competition.

Hadley vs. Johnson
Charles Johnson, DEC
i'll take a chance here even though taking charles is always a risk. hadley statistically has a hard time landing td's and that has been johnson's weakness so maybe it gets stuck at boxing range?

Aldrich vs. Hardy
Veronica Hardy, DEC
jj hasn't been able to push her wrestling game as much in recent years and her striking is more serviceable than good so i guess i'll say hardy lands the more meaningful shots.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 12 Winners, 5 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 575th

Lewis vs. Nascimento
Derrick Lewis, TKO, R3
Could see a very long fight and even a decision victory here but Lewis gets impatient and sees an opening he continuously takes advantage of, the final time he feigns and lands a crushing combo, back to back Hooks . Walk off KO.

Buckley vs. Ruziboev
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R1
Buckley shows more patience than you’d think, he is looking for counter but moreso range. I think Nursulton’s aggressiveness will actually get him stunned here. Buckley has a killer instinct that would capitalize on any hurt hesitation. Buckley steps into a nice dirty boxing combo, finishing with a Right Hook that stumbles Ruzi. Buckley starts ripping Body shots and as Ruzi crumples to Joaquin’s height, Buckley grabs Ruzis neck in a thai clinch and drills two knees before getting a KO finish.

Menifield vs. Ulberg
Carlos Ulberg, TKO, R1
Mid round 1 Alonoz rushes right into a beautifully timed Left Hook counter from Ulberg.

Ferreira vs. Rębecki
Mateusz Rębecki, SUB, R1
He cracks Diego early with a right hand, immediately cranks a tap-inducing Guillotine. Sub.

Caceres vs. Woodson
Sean Woodson, DEC
Methodical fight with alot of action. Could see a split here. Woodson secures the first and does his best to win the third. 30-27,29-28x2 Uni.

Cortes-Acosta vs. Despaigne
Robelis Despaigne, TKO, R1
Im gonna board the train here, last outting Robelis made a point. Right hand mid-combo sits down Waldo and a follow-up uppercut lands right after. Out cold KO.

Hooper vs. Borshchev
Chase Hooper, SUB, R1
RNC quick, Hooper puts together a strong winning streak.

McKinney vs. Ribovics
Terrance McKinney, TKO, R1
Esteban tries to steal some shine but to his own detriment and gets clipped with a head kick in the process. McKinney KOs him cold Left head kick counter.

Ricci vs. Pennington
Tecia Pennington, DEC
30-27x3 Uni.

Waters vs. Goff
Billy Goff, TKO, R2
Late 2nd round Waters starts to fade and Goff keeps the same output. TKO GnP Elbows and postured up punches.

Hadley vs. Johnson
Charles Johnson, DEC
30-27,29-28,28-29 split

Aldrich vs. Hardy
Veronica Hardy, DEC
29-28x2 28-29 Split
